Significance of Name/Number: All my friends call me “V” or “Vern” so I wanted my derby name to include “V” or “Vern”. A friend suggested Verndetta (Thanks Jameson)! My favorite number is 9 and I graduated high school in 99 so I picked 999 which is 666 upside down.
Hometown: Moses Lake, Wa.
Occupation: I am currently an Accounting student until this summer and a landlord. GO COUGS!!!
Hobbies: My hobbies are going to concerts, reading, traveling, shopping, and now roller derby!
Favorite After Party Beverage: Bud Light and a shot of fireball!
Major Injuries: No major injuries yet…fat lip from ValDeath and lots of bruises…right now I have bruises in five different places on my body.
Derby Birthday: November 2010 is when I started attending ACRG practices
Jeff Marcum was a dear friend to many and a loving son, brother and grandson. He was loved by many and had an amazing spirit. His life was cut incredibly short but for those that were lucky to have met him, you know he lived his life for the moment. ACRG would like to dedicate this year to Jeff and his family. You are truly missed and will never be forgotten. WE LOVE YOU JEFF MARCUM!! May you rest in peace and forever be watching us from above.
