On Tuesday, August 23, the Atomic City Rollergirls held the first ever Roller Derby Exhibition at the 2011 Benton Franklin Fair & Rodeo. ACRG split into two teams for the night, with their Freshmeat skating against the Rodeo City Rollergirls from Ellensburg, and their Veterans facing off against the Femme Fianna of the Dockyard Derby Dames from Tacoma. In the end, Rodeo City took the win over the ACRG Freshmeat, and the ACRG Vets took the win over the Femme Fiannas.
Check out the AMAZING photos taken that night!! A HUGE ACRG ‘Thank You’ goes to the wonderfully talented photographers that came out to take pictures and have been gracious enough to share them.

Make sure you don’t miss ACRG go at it again this Saturday, August 27th at the Toyota Arena against the Spokane Pretty Deadlys. It promises to be an exciting, hard-hitting bout!

Jeff Marcum was a dear friend to many and a loving son, brother and grandson. He was loved by many and had an amazing spirit. His life was cut incredibly short but for those that were lucky to have met him, you know he lived his life for the moment. ACRG would like to dedicate this year to Jeff and his family. You are truly missed and will never be forgotten. WE LOVE YOU JEFF MARCUM!! May you rest in peace and forever be watching us from above.
